The Cleveland Show

So I Listened to the Cleveland Show last night by Chip Tha ripper.

The whole Mixtape over all was pretty good and had some really good tracks but some were lackluster.

I think this my favorite song however though.

I like the way It starts as a crazy dream before going into reality.

My Favorite Creative Rapper comes with a new freestyle

Kid Cudi does it again with a creative beat and simple but eloquent words.

Okay, Yes I'm ODing but I couldn't help myself.

My friend Lydia got me hooked on this song lately. The song comes from so so so so old 2006. It is the single off of Georgia Rapper Blak Jak's album Place Your Bets. The song is called "Ball out ($500) ft. T-Pain.

A little late on this one

The synth-pop duo known as La Roux Is one of my favorite electronic groups to listen to right now. They make fun music to drive to or anything else to. The thing that real allows them to standout in a sea of music these days for me is lead female singer Eleanor Jackson. She has a captivating voice that standout on a track. Also I listen to their album lately and was very please with what I heard.

Lupe is an enemy of the state

Lupe has been all over the place lately since releasing his song shining down this summer. He has been on remixes, made his own songs and now he has a new mix tape out for the masses. The pieces I have listen to seem okay but nothing overly impressive. It is a good listen but who am I to judge for you. Download and check it out for yourself after the link.

It Has been a long time coming.

It has been while since post but have no fear the drought is over. A fresh rain of music will fall upon this blog very soon.

Oh and to go along with the artwork here is a new song by wale called "Ice and Rain" detailing the story of a young woman who meets the wrong guy and falls for his charm when really he was a just a pimp in disguise. Pretty nice song overall that achieves the idea of a warning tale to women. Be careful ladies look before you leap.

MAGIC!

One of the best songs I have heard this year. Jay-Z and Alicia keys make this song up lifting and magical. He is lyrically on top of his game and keeps it fresh and amusing with quick punchlines. Alicia Keys voice is what adds to the song after the thumping build of the beat coming in sounding heavenly, her voice slowly erupting into the chorus. This song makes Blue Print 3 look very promising coming soon in just weeks.

So this is a great video and song by the group Matt and Kim made up of the male and female indie pop duo you see in the video.

It is off their Album Grand which dropped in January of this year.Personal I think this song is a good way to start a day and how I started mine today.

Just because it was just that Awesome I had to post this today even though I didn't plan until tomorrow to start. Jamie Jones is from Wales and got into electronic in the 90's in the rave scene. Obviously we all need to get into the rave scene if it will allow us to make music and music videos like this.

Welcome to Sonic Nutrition

So here is the first post and it is not music but that will change and soon. To the worries don't worry a full blown website is still coming. I just got tried of waiting for it to happen and people like myself and other slacking so here is something in the mean time. So you are probably wonder what Sonic Nutrition is all about. Well the simple answer is Music. I love it, I breath it, I sleep it, it gets me through almost everyday, and days without it for me don't exist. Now I know what your thing everyone has a music blog why look at yours. Well hopefully you will like what I bring to the table to this whole music blog thing. I have a very wide array of music taste. I will provide new music, things you heard and loved from back in the day, review albums and mixtapes from artist you will love and some you will hate and other you will ask why did I even bother to post. Also I don't want to be a one way tool if you have something profound to say or something magical or just worth listening to please email it right away and you never know it could end up as my next post. I will also have guess reviewers and artist profiles with music samples to be download and interview where you can see some of these new artist's process in making great music or at least we hope that is what it is.
